Not a whole lot has happened to me this past week, but I am bored out of my mind because I can't turn on the TV. It is test week for "dictator" Clint and so the week of the test we aren't allowed to turn on the TV. It helps him get studing done, but I die of boredom. (As you can see test week makes me a little bitter towards Clint.) So I thought I would blog. All I did this week was babysit and take care of the kids. On Friday my friend went into labor and called us at 3:00 a.m. to see if we could take their son for the day. So they brought him over to sleep and I ended up sleeping next to him on the floor so he wouldn't get scared. The next day was just a blur to me. All I remember is that I had three kids to take care of. It was crazy but fun. It was definitely birth control for me. I am NOT ready to have anymore quite yet. Maybe in a couple more years. All you moms with more than one kid, I don't know how you do it everyday. You're amazing. Anyways...here are some fun pictures of our sweetheart Emmi. She is SO cute and tons of fun.
Bath time!! Emmi LOVES the bath
and loves to splash and suck all the
water out of the washcloth.
Emmi and her "boyfriend" Jaedon.
He loved to kiss her and sit behind
her and give her hugs.
We bought her some new binkies.
She had to test out all of them
She loves to sit with her feet crossed.
No matter what she is doing she always
crosses them.
Whenever I give her the binki she takes
it out and puts it back in upside down.
She thinks it is pretty funny.

Labor Day Weekend
So another week has gone by. Things are going well for us. It is pretty much the same. We were able to go home to Utah over Labor day weekend. Clint's mom was diagnosed with Lung Cancer and had a pretty big surgery to take out the tumors, and so we flew out to Utah to see her and to be with the family. It was really good to see everyone and it was SO hard to fly back home. It just makes me look forward to the next time we come out there even more. We do want to say that Helen is our hero and we are so impressed with her and her optimism. She is really keeping our family afloat. We love you!!!
Emmi had her 6 month check up on Friday. She is getting so big and I can't believe I have a 6 month old. She is 14 lbs. 1 oz. and is about 25 inches. She grew one inch since her last appointment and gained one pound! She is getting HUGE. She can now sit up all by herself and would rather sit than lay down. She also has two teeth and they are so cute when she smiles but I hate them when she eats. Her new things is to bite me really hard when she is doen nursing. Yesterday she made me bleed. OUCH. But other than that nothing new is happening in Hershey. We miss everyone and can't wait to see you again!!
We had a family picnic after the
BYU game at Jeff and Kim's house.
It was SO fun.
Grandma and Grandpa Bullock
She is trying to show you her teeth!!
She is probably screaming in the picture
(her new thing) and I love the shorts
she is wearing for bed.

More Emmi
Sorry, more pictures. They wouldn't all fit on the last post. I hope you enjoy.
Emmi had a blow-out and so I put her
in one of my shirts. It was so big on her.
Just hanging out with dad right before church.
I had fun with her hair the other
night and got this crazy hair-do.
Emmi and mom right out of the bath.
Clint and I are already in trouble. We found out
She LOVES cell phones. She cries everytime I
talk on my phone and don't let her have it. We
finally gave her Clints old phone so that she can
play with hers while I talk on mine. What are we
going to do with her?!?!

Cute Baby
So we haven't really been up to anything new these past few weeks. I am still at home with Emmi, but I am now taking care of a little boy named Lars every weekday. His mom is in Clint's class and his dad goes to school out of state so I am taking care of him for the time being. He is the same age as Emmi so it feels like I have twins!! But he is really good and so far it has been easy. Clint is in school once again. He is as busy as ever and it feels like he never even had a summer break. He enjoys school though so I guess that is good. Emmi is getting so big and has hit some milestones. She has her first tooth. It is barely there but I can sure feel it when she is eating :). She also rolled the other day. She was on her tummy and rolled to her back. I was so excited but I don't think she had any clue what had happened and just thought her mom was nuts. She also tried rice cereal for the first time. That was very unsuccessful. She kept spitting it out and then learned that if she clamped her mouth shut I couldn't get the spoon in, so I will have to keep trying but evertime I try to feed her she gets it everywhere. So yeah!! my little sweetheart is growing up. Here are some fun pictures of her. She is SO SO cute. We love our Emmers.
Here is her first attempt with cereal.
Notice it is all over. I don't think that
spoonful even made it in her mouth.
She is such a big girl and loves to sit
on the couch with me and Clint. She also
loves to fold her arms. It is so cute when
she does it.
Here she is with Lars. This is right before she
rolled for the first time. I'm so glad I got it on
camera because she hasn't done it since.
Here she is after the roll. Notice she is on top of Lars.
Lars can roll and so he is always rolling on her. I
thin kshe is getting him back.
She loves paper and was sitting on Clint's lap
and took this card from him. She is helping
him study his Pharmacology. Smart girl!!
(She is naked because I was getting her in
the bath. Don't worry...I do dress her!)

Hill Cumorah
This week has been an adventure. There were some exciting and fun days and then there were bad days. First the fun ones. We went to the Hill Cumorah Pagent in Palmyra, New York with some of our friends. It was a blast. We camped in the nearby KOA campground and went and saw all the sights. We went to Hill Cumorah and went through the visitor center that they have there, and then we went to the top of the hill where they have a statue of Angel Moroni on the place were they think the plates were buried. Then we went to the Sacred Grove and walked around. It was awesome and the spirit that you felt there was amazing. It is definitely something you have to experience first-hand to understand. We then drove by the Palmyra Temple but didn't get out because it started to rain and we had to get our tin foil dinners on the fire so we could be on time to the pagent. It is one of the smaller temples but so beautiful. The pagent was awesome and had tons of cool stories from the Book of Mormon and then told the story of Joseph Smith. It was a really fun experience. It did however rain the WHOLE time we were there. And when I say rain it isn't the rain you think about back in Utah. When it rains here it is like a torrential downpour. It can rain 2-3 inches in minutes. No one here has sprinkler systems because of how much rain there is. All of the tents got wet except for ours so one of the couples that we went with ended up sleeping in their car. It was really fun though. I am glad we did something this summer since it is Clints only summer off.
Another "fun" adventure we had this past week was buying a new car. When Clint's parents were in town Clint was driving them to the airport and on the way our car broke down. Clint was an hour away and they had no way of getting to the airport. So Clint scrambled to get someone to come pick up his parents from the side of the Turnpike to get them to the airport while he took our car to the mechanic. Thank heavens for great friends and neighbors. Our friend Jeff was the hero of the day and got everyone to where they needed to be. (Even though Clint's family missed their flights and had to sleep in the airport). Anyways...long story short we got the diagnosis back for our car and the engine was completely shot and it wasn't worth it to fix so we sent it to the car dump and have been searching for a car ever since. Again...I say thank heavens for great friends who let us borrow their spare cars for the past week and a half. So we finally bought a car yesterday and included is the picture. It is a Ford Escape and we love it. Especially for the price we got it at.
Anyways...I am rambling and need to go to bed. Our family is doing great. Emmi is still so much fun and grows so much everyday. Clint starts school again in about two weeks and I am still plugging along. We love everyone and miss you all.
At the top of Hill Cumorah with Angel Moroni.
The Bassetts, The Duncans, and The Wrights in the Sacred Grove.
Hill Cumorah...(Emmi looks really mad :))

Her new trick. She loves to grab her feet and rock back and forth. She isn't rolling yet but at least she isn't just a bump on a log anymore. She was having fun with her Daddy and copying him when he would grab his feet. It was really cute. She would do it only when Clint did it. She loves her Dad!!

The new Shaggin' Wagon. It is an awesome ride. I feel like an official mom now in the "Mom mobile". (Clint was embarassed that I took a picture of our car. He said you could only take a picture of a car if it was a 1995 Ford Taurus. NERD ALERT!!)

New York
Hey everyone,
It has been so long since I last updated our blog. I finally changed our computer setting so I am now able to put pictures on it!!! A lot has been going on since I last wrote. First and most important, we had a BEAUTIFUL baby girl. Emmi Kristine Duncan was born on March 5th. She is now 4 months old and getting so big. She is growing so much and has such a sweet personality. She is the best baby ever and really only cries when she is hungry or tired. She doesn't have a lot of tricks she can do, like rolling over, but she can sit up on her own if she has something supporting her back. She loves to giggle and loves to snuggle with Clint and me in bed in the morning. One thing that is so cute is she has a stuffed puppy (pictured above) that she LOVES. She is always hugging it or biting on it. She has to sleep with it or she just gets really fussy. We know that she doesn't have her puppy at nighttime when she starts to fuss, so all we have to do is give her the puppy and she goes right back to sleep. She is the sweetest baby in the whole world and we feel so blessed she is ours. Clint is now finished with his first year of medical school here at Penn State and has enjoyed every minute of it. He did really well in all of his classes and the teachers love him because he is such a hard worker. He is now doing research over the summer dealing with infants and pain management. He is also working at a sleep lab. I am enjoying being a mom and stay home most of the time with Emmi, but I work a couple hours a week at the library still. It has been nice to get some time to myself while Clint stays home with Emmi.
Clint's parents and Brady came to visit us a couple weeks ago and it was so much fun to have them here. We went to New York City and had a blast. It was a lot of fun. We saw most of the sights and even went to a Yankees game. We cheered for the Angels and got booed at when we took this picture (Clint has on an Angels hat). It was really fun and it was Emmi's first major league baseball game. What an adventure it was trying to get her to sleep. She cried every time the crowd cheered because they were so loud. It was really fun though. Anyways... that's whats been going on in our lives here in Hershey. We miss everyone and love all of you!!
Her one and only trick!!! Isn't she the cutest ever?!?!!!

October 2006
Hey everybody!! Greetings from Hershey. We decided that we need to be able to share pictures and updates with everybody so we are starting a blog. Well we have been here for about 2 1/2 months and we are really enjoying it. Pennsylvania is a beautiful state, especially in the fall. Right behind the medical center there is a forest of trees and they are just turning red. Fall has been my favorite so far because there is no humidity..Yeah!!
Clint has been in school since the beginning of August and is really doing well. He is one of the top guys in his class and his teachers love him because he is such a hard worker. (I can say that because I have talked to one of them). He is studing anatomy and embryology right now and in November he is starting Histology and something else that has a medical name that I have forgotten. I am working at the college as a library assistant. It is a perfect job if you like sitting and surfing the web, because pretty much that is all I do. It really is a nice job though, especially being pregnant. I can work until I have the baby and then probably a couple of nights per week after she comes. Plus I like it because I get to see Clint more often. That is always a bonus.
Well we just had the second ultrasound of the baby and everything is looking great. From what we saw yesterday everything is growing normally and the baby is healthy. If some of you don't know yet we are going to have a little girl. We are so excited. That is what we wanted and if you ask Clint he knew it all along. (He actually called it the first time we heard the heartbeat.) But we are glad that we have finally broken the boy spell in both families. The last 7 babies born from both of our families have been boys so we are excited to finally get another girl. Yeah, another girl cousin for Bailee! We already know she is going to be the weak spot for Clint. She is going to make him melt. He is so excited. But anyways. I better get back to work but here are a couple pictures of me at 3 months Prego and there are some ultrasounds. The first one is at our 9 week appointment (they were checking to see if there we two), and the other is from a couple weeks ago, so 19 weeks. It is the baby's head face down with her back. Hope everyone is doing great. We'll write again soon
