President Hinckley

Our sweet wonderful prophet Gordon B. Hinckley passed away yesterday. I was so sad when I heard the news. I feel like we are missing a lot of things living here in PA. It wasn't on any news stations and I got really upset. I wish everyone knew of President Hinckley and about the wonderful man that he was. I felt like he was my Grandpa. I loved hearing him speak and I always giggled when he cracked his voice. I thought it was so cute. He is the only prophet I remember and I can't picture him gone. He was so genuine and sincere in everything he did. You can't help but smile when you think of him. I just want everyone to know that I have a testimony of him. I KNOW that he was and is a prophet of God. That everyhting that came out of his mouth was inspired by Heavenly Father to help us grow. He did so many things for our church and aided so much in its growth. He will be so missed and will always hold a special place in my heart. I love you President Hinckley. You will be so missed.

Pictures!!! (finally)

Here is our sweet Emmi. She was DREAM to take
on vacation. She loved the sun, water and sand.

This is at the clubhouse at sunset. We were waiting
for food that some members where going to bring
to us. YUMMY!!!

Emmi was jealous of her uncle's and daddy always leaving
her to go on the boogie boards so she decided to try it.
She LOVED it. Don't worry we just went in the little pools.

She hated her sunglasses at first but by the end
she loved them. Little diva. And Uncle Roger called
this her "full skank mode" outfit.

Mommy and Emmi out for a sunday stroll.

Happy New Year

So it has been SO long since I have posted a blog. We have been out of town for most of December and got home about a week ago. I have Finally gotten back into the swing of things and feel like I can start blogging again. But much to my dismay, when I got home and went to take the camera out of my bag I realized I had the camera case but no camera. I had taken one last picture of Becca and Emmi right before we left and then left the camera on the piano at Clint's parents house. So this blog will not be full of fun pictures of our awesome Christmas like I had planned, but will be of me rambling and updating all on our Christmas festivities.
So Emmi and I left for Utah on Dec. 8th just in time to be at my brother's farewell. Let me first tell you how hard it is to fly with an infant without a husband for 9 hours. We had little problems on our flight from Philly to Denver (besides the fact the we arrived at the airport 3 hours early. Clint and I always have to be early....just in case.) Then after we arrived in Denver it was snowing so instead of a 30 min. layover we had a 2 hour delay. We switched gates and planes about 5 times before we finally got on the plane. Then the plane finally leaves the gate and we start heading for the runway. We had been on the runway for about 10 min. and I think to myself...."man, this is a really long runway. We could have been in Utah by now." Then I look out the window and see that we are pulling up to the gate again. The pilot gets on and announces that they had forgotten to load the bags and we had to come back so they could get every one's luggage in the plane. I was about to die. Poor Emmi had passed out in my arms from sheer exhaustion. ( It was 11:00 Mountain time but 1:00 Eastern Time.) We finally arrived in Utah and everything was great after that.
My brother Greg had his farewell the next day and did a great job. He is going to be an awesome missionary. He is going to the Argentina, Rosario mission. He is so excited. Anyways...Poor little Emmi had to get used to being with 44 new people. (That is the amount of people in mine and Clint's family ALONE. Immediate Family ONLY. Can you believe it?) She cried with every noise that they made. My mom coughed she cried, my brother burped she cried, my dad looked at her she cried. She has never been that snuggly of a baby but she would snuggle up to me when anyone came close to her. I loved it. By the end of our trip she was really good and loved everyone.
We ended up going to Mexico with my family for Christmas. It was a ton of fun and so relaxing to go to the beach everyday and just lay out. I do have to say that Emmi is the best baby. It was so easy she never cried the whole drive down there and she loved the beach. She would sit on her towel under the umbrella and just play. She "snuck" into the sand a couple times and got sand in every crack and crevasse that she has from head to foot. (And there are a lot of them). She liked to eat it too, so we had to watch her closer after that. She loved the water and the sun. She is definitely going to be our summer child who loves being outdoors. And of course she has Clint's golden skin so despite the fact of being lathered in SPF 50 and in the shade the whole time she got more tan than I did. Why I 'otta!! We had so much fun with my family and loved spending a little more time with Greg before his mission. I was so glad I got to see the speedo one last time! :( (And hopefully the last! My retinas will be forever burned with the images I saw of the speedo.)
After our Grand Mexican adventure we went to Clint's parents house for New Years. It was so fun to spend a little time with Clint's family. It is hard living so far away and then wanting to spend even amounts of time with both families when we are home. It is so hard to do but both families are very understanding. We made it back just in time for Tyler's baptism. It was so fun to surprise everyone (we were supposed to still be in Mexico.) We went to movies, played games, and went out to eat!!!! We had so much fun but I found out I can't play games with Clint OR Brady. :):) (Those of you who witnessed my embarrassing meltdown I apologize.) We had our fun annual New Years Breakfast at the Jones'. I love that tradition and will always do it. We also got to go to Ellie's baby blessing, Davis' baby blessing, and I got to go to the MTC and see Elder Bullock off on his mission.
What a great start to the New years that we have had. We are so blessed to have such a great family and support system. I am so homesick and want to be back in Utah so bad, but we are excited for another fun filled year here in Hershey!! Sorry about my SO long blog and hopefully when I get my camera back I will post some fun pictures.

Finally...another blog!!

So Stoic Emmi. She is such a drool machine.

Emmi and Daddy just haning out!!

Right before church. She is too cute if I can say
so myself.

I think she is on the verge of folding her arms. Isn't
she so cute??

Emmi and Lars. This is her first kiss. Clint was
a little worried it has already started. The next day when
Lars came over he was cleaning out his shot gun. :)

Sweet little Emmers

I tried to do her hair because it is now
long enough. I don't know if you can see
it but it is sticking straight up in a little
rubber band. If you click on the picture
you can see it better.

Right before the bath. She found the toilet
paper and started unrolling it.

Isn't she sweet??

Just for you Whid!!

Whitney wanted me to post some pictures of our homemade (last minute) Halloween costumes. We went to a party with all our friends and so I needed some costumes. I went to Salvation army and bought these little get ups. Clint is a farmer, I am a carrot ( but I look more like a cream sickle) and of course Emmi is our little bunny. Whid I hope you enjoy these!!! Oh and PS, we did win an award for "Best Costumes".

Farmer Clint and Emmi

Mommy the carrot and Emmi. Do you
like my slammin' awesome shoes??

Emmi looks dead but she is really asleep. And I
look really chubby but those clothes were about
3 sizes too big. And I had layers on because we
were outside. (I just had to add that because it
makes me feel a little better.)

Emmi and her new friend Reese. This is Jen Hull
and her little girl Reese. I went to high school with
her and she is now living in Hershey!!! YEAH!!

Halloween!!

I love this picture of her sticking out
her tongue. It is her new thing.

So in Hershey they do things a little different when it comes to Halloween. They always do it the Thursday before Halloween. So yesterday was Trick or treating and we were going to go but I still wasn't feeling well (I was still stoned :)) so we just dressed her up and took some pictures. So she was our sweet little bunny rabbit. She looks SO cute. Thanks Heather for the costume!!!Happy Halloween!!!

She looks so bored in this picture.

Isn't she sweet???

Here is the backside. We like the fluffy tail.

She is reaching for the camera but it makes it
nice so you can see her face up close. She is too
cute if I can say so myself.

I'm Stoned

So, finally something happened to me that was blog worthy. Wednesday I was coming home from pack meeting at the church (I am a Den Leader!!) and as I was driving home my back started hurting. Our church is about 20 min. away and I was dropping of a couple boys and then I dropped off another leader so it took me a while to get home. By the time I got to our apartment I was in so much pain. It started out feeling like I pulled a muscle in my back to where it felt like something inside of me had exploded. Good thing Clint was out in the parking lot when I got home because he had to carry Emmi upstairs because I was in so much pain. We started walking towards the door and I started throwing up. I was throwing up forever and finally I had it under enough control to walk inside, but as soon as I got inside I started throwing up again and screaming that I hurt SO bad. I was almost in hysterics and Emmi was crying because I was scaring her. Clint gave me a blessing and then we went to the ED. (Clint will be mad at me if I call it the ER. It is the Emergency Department, not Emergency Room.) Anyways, we get there and I run to the bathroom throwing up and Clint checked us in. We got in the room and they hooked me up to an IV and took some blood. They came in and told me it sounded like a Kidney Stone but they wanted to get a CT Scan just to make sure. Sure enough I had a little kidney stone traveling down my tubes. So they loaded me up on pain meds and sent me home. That night was a nightmare and I was up all night throwing up and didn't get to sleep until 5:30. So anyways...I am felling a lot better and I don't think I have passed the stone yet because they have me peeing into a strainer to catch it and all I have gotten is the piece that you see in the pictures. Clint and I think it is just a piece of it because at the hospital they told me that it was about 4 mm. And the piece that I have is NOT 4 mm. Hopefully there is more inside of me because if I was in that much pain over that little of a thing than I am a HUGE wuss. Anyways, that was kind of a funny little story...and PS having a kidney stone hurts worse that having a baby. I swear, but then again I had a epidural so.... :)

My Kidney Stone. Yes it is that tiny little speck
of a thing on the paper.

Yes I know that it is only as big as the tip of
that pen but it hurt SOOOOO bad. Like I said,
I hope there is more coming out because I feel
like a wuss crying over that little thing.

BORING!! cont...

Emmi and mommy at the duck pond.

Emmi didn't like the ducks. Especially the Geese
they scared her when they quacked.

Right before church. I love this little outfit.

So cute sweetheart!!

She hardly ever smiles in pictures so we were
excited when we got this one. Isn't her smile so
cute?!!!

BORING!!

I'm boring. Nothing new in life. I have been getting hounded by people to update the blog and today I finally have had time because the kids have been asleep for almost 2 hours!!!!!!YEAH!!!Go naps!!

Right before bed. She loves to play with Clint's
watches. And we love her "Love Bug" p.j.s

I went into check on her during nap. I found her
like this. This is usually how I find her but I was
able to get a picture this time. A couple days ago
we went in to see her and she was sucking on the
bunny's ear fast asleep. It was SO cute!

She likes to hang out upside down while she eats.

This picture is totally her personality.
Just hanging out mellow and observing.

We went to the duck pond by our house and took
some pictures. She wasn't too happy and hated
the grass. But they were cute. A little dark in her
face but so cute.

Cute Little Emmi

So again, like all my other blog postings, nothing has really happened this week. I have been busy taking care of the babies and Clint is busy in school. That is pretty much our lives. I guess I really don't have anything exciting to say except that Emmi is darling. Here are some pictures for everyone to enjoy. Oh...and we want to tell Greg that we are so proud of him. The people in Rosario, Argentina are going to be so blessed to hear the gospel from you. You are going to be a great missionary. We love you!!

Emmi is finally eating real foods now. She loves to
get messy and spread the food all over. Clint hates
it and it drives him nuts when she is dirty (I guess
he has a little OCD) and so I took this picture to make
him mad... And because this is totally Emmi in this
picture.

I had to make some homemade wheat bread
for a church acitvity so Emmi and I put on our
matching aprons that Megan made us. We had
fun being twinners, and the bread turned
out pretty good as well. I am the next
Martha Stewart.

We were waiting for the bath tub to fill up and
Clint thought it would be funny to put her on
the towel rack. I love this picture with all of
her fat rolls everywhere. And that she looks
like she is going to fall asleep at any moment.

Here is the far away shot. She is our little
monkey!!

I think I already said how much she likes to
have her binki facing to opposite way, but I
finally got a picture to show everyone how
cute it is. She did that all by herself!!

Test Week

Not a whole lot has happened to me this past week, but I am bored out of my mind because I can't turn on the TV. It is test week for "dictator" Clint and so the week of the test we aren't allowed to turn on the TV. It helps him get studing done, but I die of boredom. (As you can see test week makes me a little bitter towards Clint.) So I thought I would blog. All I did this week was babysit and take care of the kids. On Friday my friend went into labor and called us at 3:00 a.m. to see if we could take their son for the day. So they brought him over to sleep and I ended up sleeping next to him on the floor so he wouldn't get scared. The next day was just a blur to me. All I remember is that I had three kids to take care of. It was crazy but fun. It was definitely birth control for me. I am NOT ready to have anymore quite yet. Maybe in a couple more years. All you moms with more than one kid, I don't know how you do it everyday. You're amazing. Anyways...here are some fun pictures of our sweetheart Emmi. She is SO cute and tons of fun.

Bath time!! Emmi LOVES the bath
and loves to splash and suck all the
water out of the washcloth.

Emmi and her "boyfriend" Jaedon.
He loved to kiss her and sit behind
her and give her hugs.

We bought her some new binkies.
She had to test out all of them

She loves to sit with her feet crossed.
No matter what she is doing she always
crosses them.

Whenever I give her the binki she takes
it out and puts it back in upside down.
She thinks it is pretty funny.

Happy Birthday Bailee

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BAILEE!!! We love and miss you so much. Emmi loves her favorite girl cousin on the Bullock side!! She wanted to make a poster for you since she can't talk yet. So these are some pictures we took of the poster we made for you. You are so special and you are getting so big. We can't believe you are 5 years old!! We heard you are going to preschool and can already write some words. That is so awesome. We hope you have a great day. Happy Birthday!! Love Uncle Clint, Aunt Dode, and Emmi.

Labor Day Weekend

So another week has gone by. Things are going well for us. It is pretty much the same. We were able to go home to Utah over Labor day weekend. Clint's mom was diagnosed with Lung Cancer and had a pretty big surgery to take out the tumors, and so we flew out to Utah to see her and to be with the family. It was really good to see everyone and it was SO hard to fly back home. It just makes me look forward to the next time we come out there even more. We do want to say that Helen is our hero and we are so impressed with her and her optimism. She is really keeping our family afloat. We love you!!!
Emmi had her 6 month check up on Friday. She is getting so big and I can't believe I have a 6 month old. She is 14 lbs. 1 oz. and is about 25 inches. She grew one inch since her last appointment and gained one pound! She is getting HUGE. She can now sit up all by herself and would rather sit than lay down. She also has two teeth and they are so cute when she smiles but I hate them when she eats. Her new things is to bite me really hard when she is doen nursing. Yesterday she made me bleed. OUCH. But other than that nothing new is happening in Hershey. We miss everyone and can't wait to see you again!!

We had a family picnic after the
BYU game at Jeff and Kim's house.
It was SO fun.

Grandma and Grandpa Bullock

She is trying to show you her teeth!!

She is probably screaming in the picture
(her new thing) and I love the shorts
she is wearing for bed.
